Meryne is based in Nairobi, Kenya. She previously worked as Senior Project Director at the Panafrican Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA), where she coordinated PACJA’s regional climate justice policy advocacy in 8 African countries. She also served as the Programme Officer for Gender, Environment and Climate Change at the Inter-Religious Council of Kenya.
Robert Dawa, GreenFaith Africa Operations Manager, is based in Nairobi, Kenya and is an accomplished operations professional overseeing finance, accounts, administration, procurement, logistics and IT for Africa. He has over 10+ years’ experience working for NGOs and has served as Senior Operations officer at Options Consultancy Services, an international development consultancy firm and previously worked as a logistician with mothers2mothers (m2m), providing health care to families who need it most, delivered by women who know them best. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce.
Philip Omollo is a competent Finance and Accounting Professional with over 10 years of expertise in financial management, compliance & risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and grants management. He has experience working in donor-funded environments, ensuring adherence to financial best practices and donor regulations.
Philip has served as the Head of Audit at Centennial Advisory Services Limited and as a Finance Manager at Journalists for Justice.”
Brian Odhiambo Misiati serves as the GreenFaith Africa Regional Digital & Communications Codinator, where he provides strategic digital support and oversees content development for GreenFaith’s Africa digital platforms. Brian combines his technical expertise with creative storytelling to amplify environmental messages across diverse audiences.
An award-winning Climate Change Journalist, Brian has built a stellar reputation for his impactful reporting and analysis, connecting complex climate issues to real-world human stories. His professional journey spans media and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
Christine Mueni is the Project Assistant Coordinator at Greenfaith Africa, supporting project planning, coordination, and execution. With a strong background in project management, Christine ensures smooth workflows, timely deliverables, and effective communication among partners, stakeholders and community. about faith based climate action, teamwork and efficiency, they assist in tracking progress, resolving challenges, and contributing to the overall success of projects.
Lucky Abeng is a passionate and dedicated climate justice Researcher, committed to investigating the disproportionate impacts of climate change on frontline communities and advocating for equitable solutions. With a strong background in environmental justice, human rights, and sustainable development, he brings a unique perspective to the field of climate justice.
Pius is the Greenfaith Africa Program Manager from Nigeria. With over eight years’ experience as a Climate Justice Campaigner, He previously worked as Project Lead at the African Coalition for Sustainable Energy Access (ACSEA) and the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA); building an inclusive African movement to amplify and unite the voices of local communities in over 8 African countries to advance policies and practice in support of climate justice within the context of the climate emergency.
Gifty Agbenyefia is a GreenFaith Organizer based in Accra, Ghana, responsible for building relationships with Ghanaian faith leaders and individuals of faith. Her focus is on the “Keep Oil in the Ground” campaign, while also engaging faith leaders in addressing fossil fuel and oil drilling concerns within the country. In her past work, Gifty has spearheaded communications at SYND Ghana and directed the biodiversity team at SYND, managing a mangrove restoration project in the Ada region.
Baraka Machumu is the project officer and Digital Young Activist for GreenFaith Tanzania, dedicated to amplifying the voices of vulnerable communities in the fight for climate justice. Through social media, media houses, and outreach campaigns, he brings the concerns of affected peoples to the tables of policymakers, political leaders, and global decision-makers.
With extensive experience in renewable energy and climate change advocacy, Baraka is deeply committed to empowering and mobilizing youth and women to take active roles in climate action. His work focuses on storytelling, advocacy, and grassroots organizing to drive systemic change.
Currently, Baraka is leading efforts in the StopEACOP campaign, a global movement opposing the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) due to its environmental and social risks. His mission is to champion a just and sustainable future by pushing for policies that prioritize clean energy, environmental protection, and community resilience
Baraka is a climate justice defender and researcher. He previously worked as a Young Digital Activist on issues pertaining to climate change with FORUM CC. Baraka has also worked as a consultant with various organizations on the issues of climate change such as Organization for Community Engagement (OCE), Green Conservers and Ujuzi Smart.

Who merges his technical expertise on energy and climate justice for a more sustainable world by advocating for renewable energy. he uses storytelling and creative approaches to call for action leveraging digital media to raise awareness on various environmental issues.
An African United Nations Youth Delegate Fellow for 2024, designed outreach campaign focused on climate change advocacy through creative approaches leverages (Art, music & culture) as advocacy tools.

Enoch Gyeedu-Essandoh is a passionate young digital activist working with GreenFaith Ghana to drive
climate action and sustainable development. He holds a Bachelor’s of Art degree in Statistics and
Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon, and combines his academic background with his
creative skills in branding to advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With a strong belief in the power of youth to lead change, Enoch is dedicated to inspiring and mobilizing
young people to take action against climate change. His work focuses on using innovative digital tools
and creative storytelling to raise awareness and push for a greener, more sustainable future.
Through his passion and creativity, Enoch continues to champion impactful change, proving that every
individual has the power to make a difference.
Ameedat Abdulsalam is a dynamic changemaker dedicated to advancing human rights, gender equality, social justice and climate justice. With a strong foundation in research, advocacy, and strategic program development, Ameedat leverages her experiences from pro-rights and development institutions to drive impactful campaigns and influence policy on critical social issues. She specializes in creating innovative frameworks for sustainable interventions and development. Her passion for community empowerment, sustainable development, and gender-sensitive policy frameworks shines through her strategic approach to social impact, making her a powerful force for positive change. As a feminist advocate, she amplifies marginalized voices and champions Africa’s feminist narratives, working tirelessly to empower vulnerable groups across spheres.
